Creating a Town
To create a town you will need $1000, voting is an easy way to get some starting money.
Once you have $1000 you need to find a spot where you would like to make your town. Travel to the Survival World by either using /worlds or by using /wild while in Spawn. You can use /wild to be randomly teleported until you find a spot.
WARNING: You will need to check if the spot you want to make a town is available.
To do so you need to use /towny map big.
This will make a map of the surrounding chunks appear in your chat.
If that map is empty you can make a town in that spot, if it is not you will need to find another spot.

CREATING A TOWN AND CLAIMING CHUNKS:
Once you have both the money and have found a spot it is time to create your town. Use /t create <townname> to create your town.
Creating a town will automatically claim the chunk you are in and set a town spawn for you. You can teleport back to this town spawn with /t spawn.
To claim chunks you will need to deposit money into your town bank. Each chunk costs $25 and will add $5 to your town's daily upkeep. You can deposit money with /t deposit <amount>.
Once you have deposited money you can now claim chunks with /t claim. For every person in your town you will be able to claim 12 chunks. Your town size, bank amount and other information can be viewed with /town.
Congratulations you now have a town and some knowledge of Towny!
